Full Members
Full members are licensed medical doctors actively practicing and qualified in cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery. Admission requires the submission of a curriculum vitae and sponsorship by two founding members of the Society. Full members are involved in both the scientific and administrative activities of the Society.
- Membership* : 80 Euros (or 50.000 XAF)
- Annual subscription : 150 Euros (or 100.000 XAF)
Associate Members
Associate members include individuals who are currently or were formerly professionally active as perfusionists, general practitioners, medical specialists, or members of paramedical professions. They must contribute to the fulfillment of the Society’s mission and objectives.
- Membership: 80 Euros (or 50,000 XAF)
- Annual membership fee: paramedics 46 Euros (or 30,000 XAF)
- General practitioner 100 Euros (or 60,000 XAF)
- Specialist doctor 150 Euros (or 100,000 XAF)
Junior Members
Junior membership is reserved for surgical residents and interns enrolled in a recognized surgical training program. This status may be maintained for up to one year following the completion of their training. Junior members actively participate in the scientific activities of the Society but do not hold voting rights. Upon completion of their training, they are required to submit a full application for admission as full members.

- Annual subscription : 46 Euros (or 30.000 XAF)
Honorary Members
Honorary membership may be conferred upon individuals who have rendered distinguished service to the field of thoracic and cardiovascular surgery or who have made exceptional contributions to the advancement of the Society’s mission. Honorary members are exempt from membership dues. They are not eligible to serve on the governing bodies of the Society and do not hold voting rights at the General Assembly.
